Window Repair London – Clapham

In this window repair London case study Mr. C contacted us as he was in dire need of a solution for his sash windows. The rot had become very noticeable and he needed a company to help him resolve the problem.

When our surveyors visited the property they were surprised at how bad the windows had become. The sills were very rotten. The bottom rails had deteriorated to a point where the glass was almost falling out. The client actually had tape stuck on the glass and bottom rails to keep the glass from falling out.

Solution:

We proceeded to remove all the rot from the affected parts. Some of the larger parts had to be replaced with new hardwood sections as the rot had completely deteriorated the timber. Once we had all the rot taken care of we primed the open timber to ensure the repairs last as long as possible.

Outcome:

Mr. C was delighted that he could keep his original windows. He was convinced that the windows were beyond repair but we were able to skilfully replace all the rotten sections and make sure Mr. C keeps his original windows in tact.
